Pet Sitting, Walking & More!

Tammy Stromberg - Your Pet’s New Extended Family!
My passion for animals: Known as the "petite Dr. Doolittle / dog whisperer" of my family and friends, I have always had animals and pets in my life. Since childhood I have brought home countless strays, birds, bunnies, kittens, and anything that needed care.
My instinct for nurturing and caring for animals has always been a passion. I experienced this first hand when my husband and I both worked full time and stressed about leaving our golden alone all day without company or a walk. Our ‘furry' children are also part of our beloved family and we will care for your beloved ‘furry’ children the same as we care for ours.
I spent time volunteering and working part time as an education docent at The SPCA of Texas, the Dallas equivalent to the Denver Dumb Friends League. Now we enjoy fostering goldens in need through RROC (Retriever Rescue of Colorado), where I have served on the Board of Directors.
I've even had the opportunity to travel as a pet chaperon! Check out the pictures and many of our new clients on New Pawz on the Block!
4 Pawz Contractors - More New Extended Family!
Lisa Kounter: I have three two legged kiddos, five four legged kiddos (two dogs, two cats, one guinea pig), and a tank of fish! In the spring and summer my entire family is involved in fostering kittens for DDFL which we LOVE. During the school year I work at Stone Mountain Elementary as a Literacy Support teacher, an awesome job! In the summer and when other time permits around school, I love pet sitting with Tammy...it prevents me from adopting more of my own! :) Tammy and I have known each other for many years. Working together, and especially with pets, has been pawfect!
Michelle Walker: I’m a proud mom of 3 fab-o children and a wife of 21 years! My family has been active in the Highlands Ranch community for over 15 years! I’ve played an active part in Girl Scouts as a troop leader, former PTA president of CCE, and now substitute teaching for Douglas County preschools! I’ve always loved animals and ever since losing our sweet dog “Bear” this has allowed me a fun ‘pet fix’ to play and help take care of everyone else’s pets! I’ve had a blast working with Tammy who I’ve known as neighbors and great friends for over 7 years.
Cindy Murray: I met Tammy a few years ago as she was my pet sitter for our cats. Recently I decided to change careers and thought pet care would be fun and great exercise! I grew up around pets of all kinds including dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, parakeets and even a hedgehog! Today, my husband and I share our home with two adorable cats, Sasha and Cutie, sisters we adopted from DDFL. In addition to my fun loving family, I enjoy gardening, music, volleyball and travel, recently earned my Open Water SCUBA Diver certification, and am studying to become a horticulturist.
